For now in 2010 social networking companies in the world (this topic) is facebook and skype officially announced a new partnership that includes full integration for newsfeed from skype's phone book can be accessed for both services. Its just one of many breakthroughs from facebook.
Facebook has invite many cooperation for many partnership in recent weeks, including that before this is a collaboration with Bing.
From the news spread, this integration allows phonebook from skype to call and SMS to mobile phones and home phone. But unfortunately Mac users will be jealous because this application can not be applied to Mac users. We're hoping just for later on this application may applied on the Mac as well.
This is a large portion of partnership cooperation in this regard skype also has a user base ranging from a total of 560 million users worldwide.

It is said that CEO Mark Zuckerberg of facebook has rejected an offer of $ 15 billion from Microsoft (CEO Steve Ballmer).
This was revealed by Fritz Lanman as Senior Director of corporate strategy and acquisitions from microsoft. Lanman said this at LeWeb tech conference.

Since it’s a private company, the best [Microsoft] could do was to take a small stake for $240 million. that's a good offer for facebook.
and Who dare to says that Facebook would have been nearly as successful if Microsoft had bought them and taken over?” Dan Olds asked. “For all we know, Microsoft might have screwed it up.”
